Emergency shutdown system - ESD Control Panel
Emergency shutdown system - ESD Control Panel is designed for quick closure due to a pipe leak or burst, fire, or some other similar emergency, the ESD system allows a safety valve to be closed from remote stations or from the console. In well testing operations, the ESD controls the flow line valve on the flowhead and the surface safety valve which is located upstream of the choke manifold and the sub-surface safety valve.
ESD system consists of ESD control panel with air-driven hydraulic pump, hydraulic tank, air hoses, and hydraulic hoses, ESD remote stations,High- and low-pressure pilots, and the storage reels for hoses.
Applications:
- Well Testing Operations
- Used for all Standard and H2S Service
- Sweet gas environments with a wellhead pressure at 5,000psi, 10,000psi, 15,000psi, 20,000psi.
