They are designed in accordance with API Spec 11 B and SY/T5029-2006, and are made from fine quality alloy steel, featured by high strength, smooth surface and long service life. The polished rod is connected to polished rod coupling, and end upsetting polished rod is connected to sucker rod coupling in use. |
| Material, Grade and Mechanical properties for polished rods Carbon steel polished rods are made from AISI 1045 carbon steel of cold drawn steel bar. Its ultimate tensile strength is in the range of 90045 psi to 159935 psi. Alloy steel polished rods are made from AISI 4140, AISI 4330 and alloy steel of cold drawn steel bar. Its ultimate tensile strength is in the range of 94975 psi to 159935 psi. |
